Grimes

Claire Elise Boucher is a Canadian musician, singer and songwriter from Canada. [2][3] Early work can be described as "lo-fi R&B to futuristic dance-pop",[4] with influences from electronic, hip-hop, and rock. Many of her lyrics touch the themes of science fiction as well as feminist themes. Five albums have come out. Grimes came from Vancouver but later relocated to Montreal. She started her independent music career in late early 2000s. In 2010 she debuted two albums via Arbutus Records, Geidi Primes (and Halfaxa), respectively. Following her joining 4AD the band gained popularity by releasing Visions which is her third album of studio work. Visions comprises the singles "Genesis" as well as "Oblivion" as well as the Canadian music industry's Juno Award for Electronic Album of the year. The album followed this and her fourth studio album, Art Angels, was released in the year 2015 and garnered high praise from critics as several publications named it the best album of the year. Sixteen years later, her fifth album Miss Anthropocene, was out in 2020. Grimes as well as an actor as well as a judge for Alter Ego's musical competitions performed as singer on the album Cyberpunk 2077 which was released in 2020. Grimes Grimes Grimes
